Norton looking for congressional page
June 04, 2009
By the Voice
D.C. Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton announced yesterday that she is seeking applicants to compete for one congressional page position for the fall semester.

Norton will name one D.C. student to work on Capitol Hill, where, she says in a release, pages are "eyewitnesses to history."

Applicants must live in the District and attend a D.C. high school. Applicants must be at least 16 when the program starts on Aug. 30 and a junior in high school. U.S. citizenship and a 3.0 grade-point average in core subjects are also required.

Applications are due no later than June 19 and are available at norton.house.gov.
